Incorporated in 2000, the National Healthcare Group (NHG) manages a cluster of four hospitals, two national specialty centres, three specialty institutes, nine polyclinics and six business units.

Tan Tock Seng Hospital

Established in 1844, Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) is named after its philanthropist founder, Mr Tan Tock Seng. Today, TTSH is Singapore's second largest acute care general hospital with 1,200 beds and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, medical equipment, as well as the latest communication and information technology tools.

With 24 clinical departments and a full range of sub-specialties, TTSH's strengths are in Infectious Diseases, Geriatric Medicine, Rehabilitation Medicine, Respiratory Medicine and Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology (RAI). The hospital also comprises two major specialty centres in Rehabilitation Medicine and Communicable Diseases.

National University Hospital

National University Hospital (NUH) started in 1985 as the first restructured hospital in Singapore. Today, it is a 928-bed tertiary acute-care hospital, and was the first hospital in Singapore to be accredited by the Joint Commission International in September 2004.

NUH's inpatient facilities include 26 wards, 19 operating theatres, 6 intensive care units, 22 clinical departments, 3 dental and 6 paramedical departments, 4 medical institutes as well as numerous specialist outpatient clinics and specialised service centres. NUH’s strengths lie in Cardiac, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Oncology, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic and Gastroenterology services.

Institude of Mental Health

The Institute of Mental Health (IMH) is a 2,000-bed acute tertiary psychiatric hospital with 51 wards and three Outpatient Specialist Clinics. It was the first mental health institution in the region to receive Joint Commission International certification in September 2005.

Equipped with modern facilities, IMH offers a comprehensive range of psychiatric, rehabilitative and counselling services that meet the special needs of children and adolescents, adults and the elderly. Its clinical departments include: General Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Community Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, Early Psychosis Intervention and Addiction Medicine.

John Hopkins Singapore International Medical Centre

As Johns Hopkins' first clinical healthcare facility established outside of the United States, the Johns Hopkins Singapore International Medical Centre (JHSIMC) is dedicated to continuing the Hopkins tradition of excellence in research, education and patient care.

Established as a geographical alternative to the Johns Hopkins Hospital in the United States, JHSIMC's healthcare team works together to meet each patient's physical, psychological and emotional needs; hence providing high standard of oncology services and care to local and foreign patients.
