As Easy As 1...2...3...!

1. Register here

   (if you haven’t already!) – all you need is your email, a username and a password. This will get you rolling to place bids on any product offered here at uBid.com, or purchase via uBuy It Now! Note – at uBid.com we never charge you for bids or make you prepay to bid! You bid freely for the items you are interested in. If you win – GREAT! If you don’t, you still don’t lose – money that is!

2. Browse for what you want

   – use our easy category navigation, search by keyword for products that interest you, or just click on a product that’s available from our home page. You’ll see above the product description the bid price to beat , how long the auction will remain open , who else has bid and a compare price feature . We add new products each day across more than 25 categories so there are always fresh finds to discover!

3. Bid on the product(s) you are interested in.

   Simply enter the $ amount you want to bid in the "bid" section and click "Place Bid" . Once you confirm your bid, it will appear on top of the bidlist and if yours is the highest bid after the clock runs out, you WIN! If you are outbid, you are done but can rebid again as soon and as often as you wish. You can track the status of your bids on your "My Page" which is established once you register with uBid.com.
   
   Note that all bids are un-cancellable – so bid wisely!
   When the auction’s over, if you are the winner, you’ll receive an email with instructions on purchasing, shipping, etc. If you are a brand new winner, you’ll need to provide your information and CCard. Once you’ve purchased from uBid.com once, we’ll encrypt and securely store all of your info for future auctions.
   
   We encourage you to "Like" your auction wins or even if you really like a product you see on uBid.com that you think others would benefit from seeing! Each Bid Page has a Facebook and Twitter link .

  If you find an item that has the uBuy It Now label, simply purchase it outright - the process is the same as if you win an auction.

• Bid Glossary:

  • Compare – This feature allows you to compare the price you are bidding with what the current web price is for that exact product if you were to purchase it elsewhere.
  • Condition – This tells you what the condition of the item is – new, re-certified, refurbished, open box, etc.
  • Bid – This is the amount you are committing to paying for the item.
  • Bid increment – This is the lowest dollar amount that you need to bid to remain in the auction.
  • Reserve price – uBid does not use reserves. The price the item is won at is the amount the winner purchases that item for.
  • Shipping – Here is where you calculate your shipping costs for the item, should you win it.
  • Starting Bid – This is the dollar amount at which the auction starts – the first bidder starts at this amount and in most cases the bid increments are based on this dollar amount. Most of uBid.com’s auctions start at $1!
  • Starting Stock – This is the number of items available for bidding in the particular auction.
